Queensland eNews — Summer 2020-21
Welcome to the Summer 2020-21 edition of CGA’s Queensland eNews.
Wow, what a year it’s been – bushfires, pandemic and the US elections. Despite the gloom there’s been a lot of good news in our great State, plus nationally and overseas with community gardens and the community food scene generally.
This issue includes tips on attracting more members and fund raising, free insurance coverage, a new book on garden biodiversity, and a fantastic Wicking Bed offer from the guys at Waterups and Aqualess.
Next April is Urban Agriculture Month with a lot of community gardening events planned right across the nation including a Gold Coast gathering and a Community Gardening Festival in Brisbane.
Plus, there’s info on Sustain’s “National Pandemic Gardening Survey” and a couple of exciting Churchill Fellowship announcements.
Happy Gardening!
