The Community Garden is part of the Healthy for Life Program and is maintained by a full time gardener, a local Aboriginal woman.
The produce is mainly grown from seedlings which are planted into garden plots.
The fresh fruit, vegetables and herbs from the garden are distributed to community members who are elderly and/or have a chronic disease.
They currently got 48 wicking beds which works out about 144 kilograms a month of produce which can be supplied to the community.
