Situated in the grounds of the ‘Former Kid’s House’ the PICAL Cowes Community Garden & Kitchen is auspiced by PICAL and is a grass roots local food project supported by a combination of volunteer efforts, donations, fundraising, memberships and grants.
The Bass Coast Shire has also been a primary partner that has contributed to the establishment and ongoing management of this project in a myriad of different ways.
The PICAL Cowes Community Garden team are passionate about local food and we look forwards in working with the community to fully utilise the potential of this great venue for local food training, events and of course growing food.
