You’re Invited to an Interfaith/Intercultural Event — Fertile Common Ground

Hosted by the Multifaith Association of South Australia (a Cooperation Circle of the URI)

Celebrating the 2024 International Day of Peace

Saturday 23 November 2024 at Glandore Community Garden (4pm-9pm) (capacity of 50 attendees)

• 4pm: Community Garden tour with Rob Gray followed by Q&A on sustainable and resilient
  local food systems
• 4:45pm: Welcome to Country and talk (Elaine Magias)
• 5:15pm: ‘The Commitment to Interfaith Harmony in Australia’ led by Phillipa Rowland
• 5:30pm: ‘Dance of Universal Peace (Spirit of Peace)’ led by Amrita and Hakim
• 6pm: preparation/sharing of some traditional and bush tucker dishes with discussion
  of their cultural/spiritual significance. Please bring along a plate. Garden Pizza Oven will
  also be fired up (Rob Gray).
• 8pm: composting of food scraps in Garden, clean up.
