Deloraine Community Garden has been going for many years. It is located on what was originally the local farm school. Interest in the garden has waxed and waned over the years.
The overall aim of the garden is to provide a place of learning, community engagement, access to fresh organic produce, and a space to dig and grow. One of the current projects is to propagate as many seeds as possible for use in the community garden as well as to give away to those in the community who would like to start their own garden.
We would also like to encourage more use of the garden through such activities as art projects, workshops and pizza days.
