Our patch is located in the heart of Broome on a busy main street. We have planted out the verge with a community garden which is looked after by volunteers and a garden coordinator. The produce that is grown is there for the community to use to help with food security and is great place for all to come and share and swap ideas and stories.
It is a collaboration between Broome CIRCLE, Incredible Edible, and the Broome Volunteer Resource Service and continues to thrive, enabling social connections, learning of new skills, and community participation.
We invite volunteers to join us on Thursday afternoons from 4-6 pm.
