We grow fruits, nuts, vegetables, flowers, and ornamental plants by following the essential principles of organic agriculture in working as much as possible with natural processes for soil building and conservation, pest management, and heirloom variety preservation.
The Gardens are located at Harold Hodgson Park in Katoomba NSW and are on public land and open for visitors to enjoy every day.
They were founded on the current site in 1995.
Volunteers meet on:
Our sincere thanks go to those local businesses and organisations who support us, and the volunteers who make the gardens a great place to connect, learn and relax.
The garden’s activities, seeds, and plants, etc are organised and funded only through community volunteers.
