The Naracoorte Community Garden provides plots for residents to grow fruit, vegetables, herbs and flowers.
The Naracoorte Community Garden, located at the Naracoorte and District Regional Sports Centre, is open to all residents within the Council area. The garden operates on an ‘allotment’ style community garden where individual residents or a group are allocated their own plot and maintain and harvest their own produce.
The Community Garden is under the care and control of the Naracoorte Lucindale Council. People interested in gardening at the Community Garden should contact the Naracoorte Lucindale Council.
Anyone residing in the Naracoorte Lucindale Council area, over the age of 18, can apply for a plot (people under 18 can be involved in the garden with someone over 18). Gardeners are required to pay an annual fee per allotment to the Naracoorte Lucindale Council to occupy a plot(s), this fee subsidises the costs associated with the Community Garden.
