The Sunbury Community Garden, also known as the Goonawarra Community Garden, is one of the Hume Council’s four community gardens. The garden has eighteen individual plots along with communal plots. There is also an orchard with approx. 50 fruit trees with some heritage varieties.

Membership is free and garden members meet on a regular basis for various activities. Even if you do not have an official plot to call your own, many other events and workshops are regularly held. Come and visit during any event and have a look. We’d love to see you and have a chat. We hold a regular produce swap —  see Harvest Sunbury on FB.

We’d love to connect with other passionate gardeners and people interested in heritage fruit trees, bush tucker, real food etc.
