The aim of our Community Garden is to build engagement with everyone who uses our Centre and representative of the cultural diversity that is Mirrabooka and the surrounding suburbs. Our garden has been recognised by the North Metropolitan Health Service in their local community garden resource.
Our garden area has many old gum trees and walking through the veggie and flower beds, visitors comment on their sense of peace and serenity. Stories told to us by local Noongar elders speak of the history of this area being a place where community would come to meet near by a pond.
