The garden was established with much enthusiasm, then went through a bit of decline. In 2012 we were successful with a Stephanie Alexander Kitchen Garden grant and the pace really picked up.
Now the garden is an integral part of our curriculum and students of all ages (K-6) get extensive experience with the garden.
The community volunteers for the heavy lifting and difficult work. We regularly host celebrations, special visitors, and media.
