Moss Vale Community Garden is a communally gardened site on council land organically growing a diversity of common and heritage varieties of fruit and vegetables. People of all ages and cultures are welcome to join our gardening activities and educational workshops relating to sustainable living and permaculture.
The community garden has a grove of espaliered heritage apples, various stone fruit, citrus, many varieties of berries, walnuts, figs, feijoas, mulberries, and a hazelnut grove. There are around 20 raised garden beds fertilised by on-site compost and worm castings.

Since 2014 the Citizens Own Renewable Energy Network Australia (C.O.R.E.N.A.) organised crowdfunding of solar panels & batteries (3.7kW). The volunteers now have access to hot water & lighting, power tools, battery mowers, and whipper snippers.
