Monash University Permaculture Food Garden and Community Farm

Martin Street Notting Hill VIC 3168

We are a community of students focused on gardening in accordance with permacultural practices.

Permaculture is a model of agriculture focused on sustainable and self-sufficient practices with the intention of imitating natural ecosystems.

We are also very focused on cooking and eating all the delicious produce we grow at the two gardens we run on campus, Monash Permaculture Garden (MPG) and Monash University Community Farm (MUC farm).

We run two working bees per week at our gardens.

MPG working bees are every Monday from 4-6, and MUC farm working bees are every Wednesday from 4-6.

You can find a map to both MUC farm and MPG on our Facebook page.

We also run events throughout the semester focused on education and cooking, which you can also find details of on our Facebook page.
