In 2014 the Margaret River Regional Environment Centre Inc. (MRREC) gained a 20-year lease from the Augusta-Margaret River Shire for the site on Clarke Road to establish its base and the community garden. In 2015, the garden group gained a $20,000 grant from the Department of Local Government and Communities (DLGC) to help establish the garden.
The vision for the MRCG is of an inclusive community and space – building community partnerships as we grow together!
