Lennox Community Gardens was founded in 2015 by a group of motivated local volunteers who were interested in promoting the principles of community spirit, good health and environmental sustainability. In 2016, a half acre suburban plot of land was identified within Ocean Breeze Reserve and in early 2019 a formal lease agreement was signed with Ballina Shire Council for construction and planting of Lennox Head’s first community garden.
