• This garden commenced as Bowen Community Garden owned by the organisation of Stella Community. It is presently in the process of changing into an independent garden run by the Bowen residents and known as Gardening Community of Bowen Inc. There have been limited activities taking place at the garden in the past however into the future we envisage many activities for the whole community to enjoy. We look forward to meeting all people, residents and visitors, interested in gardening. Come along for a chat.

The Gardening Community of Bowen is for Bowen residents who will have an opportunity to connect with each other and further develop our community.  It is a welcoming place that accepts people from all backgrounds.  Growing fruit, vegetables and herb as our primary focus of the garden.  It will also promote sustainable practices and provide children an environment to learn how to grow their own food.
