Emerald Street Community Garden is on the Wellington Street side of the Collingwood public housing estate and grew out of the work of some determined local Vietnamese gardeners in the early 1990s. The garden features an impressive array of Asian herbs and vegetables, along with the food of other cultural groups now well established in the local community
