🌱 Welcome to Community Gardens Williamstown! 🌱
Our garden is a vibrant community space to grow, connect, and learn—where sustainability and healthy living truly come to life. Established in 2023 through the vision and dedication of our community members, we’ve cultivated a lush garden filled with edible plants, thriving in both individual plots and shared beds. Whether you’re a seasoned gardener or a curious beginner, there’s a place for you here as we nurture plants, share knowledge, and build connections. 🌿💚
We gratefully acknowledge that Community Gardens Williamstown is located on the traditional lands of the Peramangk people. We pay our respects to Elders past, present, and emerging, honouring their rich cultural heritage, beliefs, and ongoing connection to this land.
Supported by St Peter’s Anglican Church and The Barossa Council, our garden is a joyful meeting place that always welcomes new members, project partners, and collaborators. Join us at one of our weekly working bees to help grow and harvest produce, exchange tips, and enjoy each other’s company:
Our garden is open to all residents and community members, whether you’re interested in an individual plot, communal beds, or just want to be part of a community that values sustainable living. Feel free to drop by on Sunday afternoons during our main working bee or visit anytime to explore our beautiful space.
