We are an enthusiastic bunch of local residents brought together by Anne van Veen and her vision to establish a garden that the local community can enjoy and benefit from. We’re all volunteers, who came together back in 2018 to convert some unused council land into a community garden.
We run fundraising events and have been generously supported by local businesses, community groups and individuals. We’ve also benefitted from government grants, local and federal for which we are very grateful. The garden is thriving and all produce from the garden is shared among members. We have community garden beds – no private plots.
