Aldinga Community Garden is run by local volunteers.
The community garden is set up on old tennis courts owned by Onkaparinga City Council and has strong links with Aldinga Community Centre, next door.
The garden was established by keen gardeners in late 1990, moved to its present site, next to Aldinga Community Centre in early 2001.
It is now a sub-group of the Community Centre.
The garden philosophy is a place that is welcoming, productive and relaxing. A place for all community members to meet, connect and learn through growing organic produce to share and to eat. The Garden aims to provide inspiration to people about the delights of growing and eating healthy food.
