IT HAS BEEN 20 years since the Australian City Farms & Community Gardens Network bloomed into existence like a seed in fertile soil. It started when Fiona Campbell and I called a meeting at the old (and now demolished) Randwick Community Centre of what we imagined would be the mere handful of community gardeners in Sydney.
2016 has been a big year for the Australian City Farms and Community Gardens Network. For several years now the ACFCGN management Committee has discussed and researched the pros and cons of having a paid membership system.
The Australian City Farms & Community Gardens Network is excited to have our ambassador, Costa Georgiadis (host of Gardening Australia) celebrating our 20 years with us.
