Australasian Permaculture Convergence – Return to the Village Festival

The Australasian Permaculture Convergence (APC) is the longest-running gathering of the permaculture community in our region. Since 1984, permaculture practitioners, educators, farmers, designers, activists, community leaders and curious newcomers have come together to share ideas, build relationships and explore the evolving future of permaculture.
2027 will be a particularly special year as we celebrate 50 years of permaculture and design the next 50 years together. Together, at the Return to the Village Festival, we’ll explore the challenges and opportunities of the next 50, and celebrate the power of community through conversation, creativity, music, food and friendship. Whether you come for the convergence, the festival, or the whole journey, this is an invitation to return to the village.
Whether you are a lifelong permaculture practitioner or just beginning your journey, the APC is an invitation to learn, contribute, connect and be part of a living movement that continues to grow and evolve.
