This year’s ICAW theme, “Compost! Feed the Soil that Feeds Us,” highlights the vital role compost plays in sustaining life on land. LOCCAL (LOcal Community Compost ALliance Australia) is bringing together community composters nationwide to share insights, celebrate our collective work, and connect with others keeping nutrients cycling locally.

This event welcomes everyone involved in community composting – from running a compost hub to backyard composting for neighbours, teaching workshops to supporting initiatives in other ways. Seasoned composters and beginners alike are welcome.
