Basic Information
The Committee of Werribee Environment Community Park (WECPark) has been working hard along with our friendly team to establish the first Community Garden in Wyndham. The garden is a place for individuals and groups to grow their own organic vegetables, herbs, fruits, and flowers.
As of January 2021, we have no garden plots available.
The garden is located behind Ison House and adjoins but it is not affiliated with Mambourin Sensory Gardens and the entrance is accessible to plot holders via the cyclone gate opposite numbers 26 to 28 Walls Road.
We have a great glasshouse - kindly donated by the Anderson Family- where we grow seedlings of many sorts. We encourage all our plot-holders to use rainwater from our large water tank on their garden beds. We would like to warmly welcome assistance that we are currently receiving from Bunnings, who have sponsored two garden beds and have assisted us with providing manure, compost materials, and many seedlings.
