Basic Information
Murnong Community Garden is situated behind the houses of Eldridge St and overlooks the old tip site.
Views over the Maribyrnong and into the city make it a little oasis from the concrete jungle.
The garden offers a space for local residents to engage in activities of growing their own food through their own plots. Through gardening, members have the opportunity to engage in a recreation activity, social interaction, connection to nature and food, and a space for cultural practices around food to continue.
