Edgeworth David Community Garden

Launched on 30th October 2016 after a successful submission to Council by a dedicated group of residents and grant funding through the Australian Government’s Stronger Communities Grants Program. This community garden is a place not just for fruit and vegetables but for all people to come together to share, learn and grow.

Edgeworth David Community Garden is organised by volunteers who have formed a committee and meet monthly. As this garden is just getting started, for the 2016 to 2017 financial year, there is no membership fees. It is anticipated that a membership fee will be introduced as the garden is able to offer more.

Elemental Permaculture in conjunction with the volunteers created the design for the garden and incorporates permaculture ethics and principles.
