Chapel Street Community Garden

Basic Information

Chapel street Community garden, opened in 2012, is wondrous garden filled with edible plants growing in both individual plots and communal beds. We are supported by the Morialta Uniting Church and the Burnside Council.
Residents and the wider community are welcome to join as an individual plot member, communal plot member or a community member (no assigned plot).

The garden is also open most Tuesday mornings between 9 am and 12 noon for visitors to drop in.

Chapel Street Community Garden acknowledges that the land we now use is the traditional Country of the Kaurna people and we pay our respects to Elders past and present.
We recognise and respect their cultural heritage, beliefs and relationship with the land. We acknowledge that they are of continuing importance to the Kaurna people living today.
