Ashfield Park Community Garden

Community garden

Basic Information

The group uses chemical free gardening methods to grow herbs, vegetables, fruit (tomatoes) and edible and pest repellent flowers.

APCG was established in 2015. Prior to this date, the local council used the U-shaped and ground-level cement beds for growing flowers.

The APCG group uses chemical-free gardening methods to grow herbs, vegetables, fruit (tomatoes), and edible and pest repellent flowers.

If you join, you can share the organic produce, after a day spent at the working bee. You will meet some great people in your community and learn some new skills.

Each February we ask our members to pay a small yearly membership fee to assist with the purchase of soil and soil preparation, seedlings, plants, mulch, garden equipment, and insurance.
