This is the first Community Garden in Rosebery - started by a group of local residents who are warm, friendly, passionate in gardening and promoting healthy living. We see the Garden as an opportunity to meet and connect among the local community. It is a safe place for family and children - an opportunity to learn more about how we can grow our own organic and healthy food.
The purpose of the Garden is to:
Build a sense of community bond
Improve family nutrition
Improve environment and sense of practical recycling
Contribute towards urban food security
Everyone is welcome to join us. No gardening experience is required - you just need to come with a curious mind and an interest to learn and connect.
