Basic Information

Established in 2011 and offers residents within walking distance and who do not have access to their own garden a place to grow food. The Garden is a space where local residents can grow their own vegetables and contribute toward sustainable living in Sydney.

30 plots are available in large and small sizes, with two plots allocated to people with a disability and two allocated to local organisations.

There are some communal garden areas and we welcome people to become friends of the garden and be involved in activities, working bees, and training. The Lakemba Community Garden also provides a space for training and community activities.
