Glovers Garden was established in 1984.
It is Sydney’s oldest Community Garden located in Callan Park and endeavours to promote a harmonious mix of the diverse approaches to sustainable organic gardening, and permaculture principles.
The garden operates as an organic garden using permaculture principles where possible.
Most of the garden is for shared use by all members, including caring for chickens and worm farms. So, if you would like to become a member, grow some of your own food and learn about gardening and sustainable practices, please contact us to book into a working bee.
Beginner and experienced gardeners are welcome. Other visiting times are available by arrangement.
