The Salisbury Community Garden is located within the grounds of Salisbury State School, on the southside of Brisbane, QLD.
Our garden comprises three converted cricket pitches, which are lockable.
Our members work the site communally mostly, meaning we agree on seasonal planting plans and all work together to realise them. We find it’s a great way to meet people, learn from each other, and divide the workload. It also improves our success rate! In peak planting times (Autumn, Winter, Spring), we typically meet on the weekend. The meeting time changes according to the needs and wants of the group.
