It is a space for members of the local community to grow, learn and share organic garden practices. The garden is being designed to provide a wide range of activities for people of all abilities.

The Joondanna Community Garden was the first in the City of Stirling.

It is a demonstration site for sustainable living practices including:

•    local food production
•    waste minimisation and management
•    water conservation.

The garden provides a local space for residents to meet and share experiences on food gardening using organic principles and practices with an open all-inclusive environment for people and families to connect with their community.
