Coolangatta-Tweed Urban Farm Community
Basic Information
Our vision is to create a beautiful, professionally designed Urban Farm that benefits the entire community. We also aim to provide education on sustainable and regenerative farming methods and regular workshops on various aspects of home gardening. In addition to scheduled gardening days for our members, we intend to organise social gatherings, fostering a strong sense of community.
Although we’ve been planning since late 2020, we only acquired our Coolangatta site in August 2023 so we’re right at the beginning of our growing journey. We’ve achieved a huge amount already and our garden is thriving and producing amazing vegies
We embrace Permaculture methods in our design and operate as a communal garden with no individual plots.
