Permapatch Community Garden (10:30am-4pm)
You are warmly invited to free morning tea and later some wood-fired pizza and a glass of wine (by donation) at the the wonderful Permapatch Community Garden, open from 10.30 a.m. to 4pm at the Corner of Mowbray Road and Pacific Hwy, behind the Uniting Church hall. Guided tours and garden problem solving will be available as you meander through the lush edible crops of this wonderful urban food growing hub.

Crop Swap (11:30)

At 11.30 there is a crop swap hosted by Crop Swap Sydney. You are invited to bring your excess home-grown produce or something home-made such as jam or cakes. Come along even if you have nothing to swap. You might pick up some lovely end of swapped goodies.

Repair Cafe (from 1pm)

From 1pm onwards you could retrace your steps a stone’s throw to the Repair Café Sydney North for free afternoon tea with live ukulele entertainment, as you get your items fixed free of charge, inside the church hall.  It could be a small gadget like a toaster, or shoes, clothes, jewellery, ceramics or tools to be sharpened, or just come and learn from the repairs as you have a chat, sip on a cappuccino and a piece of home-made cake, whilst browsing the pre-loved items.

All free. Donations welcomed.
