Interested in being a WA regional representative for CGA?
Community Gardens Australia is currently looking for regional representatives in Western Australia
What’s the gig?
Basically, you will be the eyes and ears on the ground for the national network. We hope you will be engaged with community gardens in your area, understand the inner workings of community gardens, and be connected with the national network so any grant opportunities or other information can be communicated with gardens.
Every so often you’ll need to report any cool things or news to the state coordinating representatives but this will be a really informal chat at the most!
This is a super opportunity to help your community and get more connected. We want to stress that the time commitment is small but you really do need to have the time to connect with gardens and your state coordinator – Chris Smyth — so please keep this in mind!
The regions aren’t necessarily decided yet…for now, we are going to wait and see what sort of responses we get. Ideally, we’ll have reps to cover all the major regions of WA (we can dream, right!?)
