Qld report — May-June 2018
Winter crops in bloom

After a quiet weekend away in the hills of the Lamington National Park, I took the opportunity to call in and see the team from the Beechmont Community Garden. Met the lovely Laura who was busy on the BBQ and got a little insight into what they are up to.
New compost infrastructure is the current project and is coming along nicely. Also got to try some local produce and buy a few crafty knicknacks at the community markets.
There is a bevy of Community Garden’s hosting various workshops over the next few weeks. To many to mention here but keep your eyes pealed on our website and Facebook pages.

Q&A — new ideas
I am now introducing a Question and Answer section to the report. In this area I will place a question and welcome all to offer feedback. And, it’s also a place to ask me a question.
First question

If you could start a garden from scratch, what’s the one thing that’s a must?
Until next time, life’s a garden, dig it.
