2012 Sydney Regional Community Garden MeetUP at Katoomba — 26 August
We are very excited that the Blue Mountains Organic Community Gardens will be hosting the next Sydney Regional Community Gardens MeetUP on
- WHEN: Sunday 26 August 2012
- TIME: 11:00am until 2:30pm
- WHERE: Harold Hodgson Park, Katoomba, Use Victoria Street entry to the carpark

This is an exciting opportunity to meet up with like minded community gardeners from all over the extended Sydney region, and also for us to talk about and others to see what we are doing locally here in the Blue Mountains.
There will be anywhere from 15-50 people coming to the gardens to compare notes and talk about issues in Community Gardening. Attendance numbers will likely depend on the local weather but we hope to see lots of people turnup.
This is a regular MeetUP that moves around community gardens in the Sydney region and gives people the opportunity to discuss the issues that affect the volunteers, the garden spaces, their community related functions and events and even budgets. Listening to how others deal with them in both small and large community garden organisations is usually fascinating!
This meeting we will be looking for gardens to help with the National School & Community Garden Gathering that will be held in Randwick from 11-14 October. We will need lots of help to welcome and make gardeners from around Australian welcome.

If it is wet on the day we will still be going ahead but huddling under cover.
