The Mulch Pit Community Food Garden
Location: 21 Cummins Street, Rapid Creek (on the grounds of Nightcliff Uniting Church).
Description: Permaculture community food garden open to the whole community with individual mandala plots for people and groups as well as shared fruit and veg grown across the site. Join in projects and working bees Saturday mornings from 8:30; planning, learning and sharing over Fair Trade coffee and tea at 10:30 at the on-site Opp Shop.

Lakeside Drive Community Garden
Location: Lakeside Drive, Alawa.
Description: Lakeside Drive Community Garden is a welcoming space where all members of the community come together to share skills, vegies and smiles. Collectively we will create a thriving, healthy centre for producing food, knowledge and inspiration based on permaculture ethics, principles and design. The garden is in development.

The Patch
Location: Darwin City Council Depot, corner of Vanderlin and Leanyer Drives, Leanyer.
Description: Organic garden, nursery and enterprise activity centre for young people with special needs.
Community Food Garden
Location: George Brown Botanical Gardens, Gardens Road or Geranium Street, Darwin.
Description: A Waiting Register is available for people to place their name and contact details onto. If you are interested and do not mind waiting for a plot to become available, telephone the Visitor Services Officer on 08 8981 1958, or come in personally and register.

Jingili Community Garden
Location: Jingili Water Gardens, Freshwater Road, Jingili.
Description: The garden is made up of 31 different plots each six metres by four metres plus there are communal areas of fruit trees including bananas, paw paw and passionfruit.

Bagot Community Garden
Location: Bagot Community, Bagot Road
Description: Permaculture food garden developed by the children at the after school centre in the Bagot Community, together with project coordinators and volunteers from the Red Cross.
